This windowsill display shows that when why space is at a real minimum, you still have room to create a very beautiful Christmas village scene. By using a selection of fairly narrow buildings on this windowsill, there was still plenty of room in front for the Lemax figurines to be placed, and being coloured white, the windowsill automatically appears snow-like.
Whatever the size or shape of your Christmas village layout, it is important to leave space for the figurines. These figures are what transforms your rows of houses into an actual realistic village, since they can be used to create little miniature scenes of shoppers walking past the stores with their bags, ice skaters putting on their skates by the frozen pond, and children throwing snowballs behind the trees. Of course, no display is really complete without a Santa Claus figurine, and if you have several Santas to position, just space them out so that they're not too close to each other to 'clash'.
